SUNFISH STARTING AND SHORT COURSE RACING DRILLS
When: 9:00 to 2:00ish on Saturday, October, 2021.
Outline of session:
• 8:30–9:00 Rig Boats
• 9:00–9:30: Meet for short lecture. Will verify location. We will be
covering starting and mark roundings as well as the on–the–water drills
we will be running.
• 9:30–10:00: Rig and sail out for first drill.
• 10:00– 10:45: Trigger Pull Drill, Course W1
• 11:00– 12:15: Starting drill and short course racing, focus on leeward
mark roundings. Course W2
• 12:25–1:00: Ducking Drill and Lee Bow Drill
• 1:30–2:00ish: Debrief of the morning under clubhouse
