Pearson 26 Fleet

Welcome to the Pearson 26 Fleet! The Pearson 26 comes in three versions, the standard Pearson 26, the Pearson 26 Weekender, and the Pearson 26 One Design. They all have the same sail plan and hull design but differ in the size and shape of the cabin and cockpit. The standard has the larger cabin and smaller cockpit while the Weekender and One Design have smaller cabins and larger cockpits. They perform the same and both have a PHRF rating of 210. Most boats built today are either racers (sport boats) or cruisers (slow). The Pearson 26 was designed by William Shaw, who always put performance first. After all, he designed Columbia, the first Twelve Meter to win the America’s Cup! The Pearson 26 sails well in all conditions and when the wind pipes up it is a joy to sail. When rigged properly, it can be easily single-handed. If you are looking for an affordable and family friendly boat that can be cruised and raced, the Pearson 26 is for you.
