AYC Tree Committee forming
A message from our Buildings and Grounds Commander, Lewis Price:
Attention all “Tree Huggers” or anyone else who would like to have some input the future of AYC’S beautiful trees.
On the advice of resident “Tree Guru”, Danny Lein, I am forming a Tree Committee whose purpose will be to help decide the types, location and effective watering strategies for any new trees to be planted. In addition, this group will be apprised of our ongoing battle against the spread of oak wilt to help make informed decisions regarding those efforts.
Ideally, I’d like at least one member of the LRPC to be a part of this group.
Our first “meeting” will take place this coming Saturday, 04/13, at 11am in the clubhouse. Danny will talk to us about the oak wilt issue and we will walk about the grounds to start formulating plans about the goals mentioned above.
Please email the Buildings and Grounds Commander, Lewis, to let him know you want to join. Even if you can’t make this initial meeting please let me know your interest.

AYC 2024 Printed Directory, Handbook, and Bylaws is Available
The printed version of the 2024 AYC Member Directory is now available in the office. Each member is entitled to one copy. To get your copy, stop by the office during normal business hours (Wed – Sun, 9-5), or you can send an email to Jackie and she’ll put it in a bag and hang it on a hook outside the clubhouse.
The cost for the directory is $5 and that will be charged to your AYC member account. There’s an additional $5 charge if you want the directory mailed to you.
