Our AYC Team qualified for the Gold Series! Reception for the Team at AYC on Friday Sept 30 from 6-7 in the clubhouse.

The Resolute Cup is an invitational event hosted by New York Yacht Club. Teams that had received invitations for 2020 (cancelled due to COVID) were extended invitations for the 2022 event. Scott Young and crew allowed Chris Lewis and crew to take their spot so new blood from AYC would enter the arena. Scott, John Morran and Doug Kern represented us in 2018 and placed 2nd. The Resolute Cup is an all-amateur event that also serves as the US selection process for the Rolex NYYC International Cup.
The 2022 Resolute Cup will be sailed Sept. 12 to 17 in New York Yacht Club’s fleet of 23-foot Sonars and a fleet of RS21s provided by RS Sailing. Sails are provided with, equalized rig tune and a regular boat rotation, making it a true one-design event.
Chris Lewis, Karen Lewis, Matt Romberg and Jeff Brock will be representing AYC in this regatta. For more information, check out the link below;
