Note: This event was moved out a week from Feb 12 because of the weather and again from Feb 19 because of wet grounds. They’ll try again.
Sea Scout Camp & Sail. Tent camp on grounds in “family pods” or individual tents.
New plan for Mar 14-17: We would arrive Sunday night the 14th after dinner, sail on Monday, camp that night, sail on Tuesday and leave that afternoon. Same details as to boats and people.
The “old plan:”
Launch 2 keel boats early Saturday morning – gone till Sunday evening.
Saturday morning “back 40” brush clearing service project.
Sail Ship’s S2 mid day Saturday – return Saturday evening.
Sail Ship’s S2 Sunday morning – return Sunday evening.

Providing own food, own tents for camping. Following AYC & BSA COVID distancing policies.
TEXAS CREW: Launching 2 shoal draft boats (stored in dry slips) Friday evening – leave tied to rigging docks. Camp overnight Friday night. Sail-away early Saturday morning for overnight trek to Lago Vista. Return Sunday evening. Stow boats in dry slips.
OLD IRONSIDES CREW: Launching 1 shoal draft boat after lunch on Saturday / along with wet slip’d S2 for afternoon sail. Will wait till Frostbite series launchings are complete. Returning Saturday evening. Camp overnight Saturday night.
