Discover Sailing is Adult Beginning Sailing on Keelboats to experience what it is like to sail. Each Month will be with a different fleet to enjoy learning. There will be a chalk talk/information about the boat and what you will be doing while on the water. Then a couple of hours on the water with each person getting a chance to take the helm and pull the lines to make the boat go. Followed by a debrief/ Q&A time.
Dates (subject to change; check the full calendar for the dates) are:
- March 19, 1pm to 5pm
- April 2, 1pm to 5pm
- May 21, 1pm to 5pm
- June 24, 9am to 1pm
- July 15, 9am to 1pm (new time)
- September 10, plan is 1pm to 5pm
- October 15, plan is 1pm to 5pm
- November 5th, plan is 1pm to 5pm
Each class to be held from 1pm to 5pm. Students will sign up for one 4-hour class.
Members: 8. Fee: $30.00.
Non-Members: 15. NM-Fee: $50.00.
