Sail, Swim, and Explore – Summer Adventures at AYC
Experience the ultimate summer on Lake Travis! Our programs welcome kids ages 5–16 to learn sailing, make friends, and enjoy hands-on outdoor fun in a safe, social environment. From our PB&J Saturdays for our littlest sailors (ages 5–8) to full-day summer camps for ages 8–16, every child will sail by the end of their session.
Program Overview
Our summer camp runs Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM, with optional PB&J Saturdays for ages 5–8 (1.5 hours). Campers join weekly sessions, learning sailing in a fun, social environment on Lake Travis. Early weeks focus on adventure sailing with light racing instruction, gradually shifting toward more advanced racing techniques for older campers.
Beyond sailing, campers enjoy swimming in the lake, arts and crafts, games, and STEM-inspired outdoor learning. Each week concludes with a Show & Tell for parents to watch their children sail, an award ceremony, and an ice cream party. Lunch is provided daily, featuring Thundercloud Subs Monday–Thursday and a pizza party on Friday.

Summer Camp
For ages 8–16, our full-day summer camp runs Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM, and campers can sign up by the week. Early weeks focus on adventure sailing, with racing instruction gradually introduced as the summer progresses. In addition to sailing, campers swim, do arts & crafts, play games, and explore STEM-inspired outdoor learning, ending the week with a show & tell, awards, and an ice cream party. Lunch is provided daily, including Thundercloud Subs and a Friday pizza party.
Cost: Member $600 | Non-Member $750 (Per Week)
PB&J
Designed for little sailors ages 5–8, PB&J Saturdays offer 1.5 hours of fun on Lake Travis every week. Kids will learn basic sailing skills, play games, and enjoy hands-on activities in a safe, social environment. This program is a perfect introduction to sailing, combining adventure, learning, and friendship in a supportive setting.
