Discover Sailing (Time TBD)

The class is for newbies, those wanting to learn more, or anyone looking to check out a new fleet of boats.

The class consists of a dry-land portion lasting around 45 minutes and covering basics like terminology, common knots, and how sails work.  Then on to the boats to rig and get on the water.   On the water, you will spend time trimming sails and helming (steering) during a 2(ish) hour sail.  At the end of class everyone will come back ashore to de-rig and then have refreshments and a Q&A.

No prior experience is necessary.  Come with enthusiasm, sun protection, warm clothing (when needed), and a bottle of water.
