The Prime Plus has been at AYC since 1990. Her racing experience has primarily been the Turnback Canyon regatta, where she has won her class 3 times over the years and won several other trophies.
Her owners race other boats, most notably Eric's J-24 mr happy. The Prime Plus sees a lot of cruising action and is often seen on Wednesday evenings, carrying as many as a dozen people in search of a dramatic sunset.
The C-27 is a versatile class of boat, respectably fast yet comfortable and easy to sail. She thrives in 10 knots or more, and can be sailed single-handed.
